"Introduced all over the world" In the early 1920s, a young man by the name of Goliardo Della Balda ventured away from the hilltop enclave of San Marino with his family to create a new life in Switzerland. "The best for your money" With a strong foundation in precision sports watches, Delbana turned their attention to endurance. The importance of being “waterproof” evolved into the pursuit of timepieces that could withstand extreme depths. At Delbana, this also prompted significant innovations in design and the launch of robust divers’ watches with a unidirectional rotating bezel, capable of descending 200m below the sea’s surface. In keeping with the theme of sports, Delbana was the main sponsor of a cycling team in the 1970’s, that rode under the Dutch flag. In 1974, Peder Pedersen who was part of the Delbana team,…

"A steadfast tribute" The Fiorentino holds a particularly important place in the history of Delbana, as it was designed as a tribute to our Founder Goliardo Della Balda. Named after his birthplace in San Marino, the Fiorentino had to be sophisticated, stylish, and well-crafted but also affordable. A case shape reminiscent of his years leading the company was to be the foundation, while a display of the progress and experience the brand has obtained was also essential. Rethinking durability without compromising design would further elevate the brand standard.

The new Sevilla is slightly larger than ladies’ wristwatches of the early 20th century and enhanced with detailed ornamentation. Crowned with a rifled and crystal set bezel, harmony is achieved with a mother of pearl dial inset with 4 balanced crystals. Similar principals were applied to the men’s Como of the same time. It is a reinvention of 3-hand timepieces popular in the mid 20th century with amplified magnitude and modern technology.  The 42mm case surrounded by a flat…
